What will this day be like, I wonder?
It was fabulous! We celebrated my grandmother's 98th birthday this weekend with "The Sound of Music" theme. My mom was my fact finder, helping me get all my grandmother's favorite things documented. She has alot! It was a treat finding out things we didn't know.
When family and friends arrived, they wrote a favorite thing about the birthday girl on post-it notes, in the shape of an "H" - her initial.
We did have a day full of the sound of music, fun and laughter...Great memories, and looking forward to many more!
I designed all the printables, signs and tablescape, my inspiration was from "favorite things" I already had. For instance the chevron fabric, was the inspiration for the design of the invite and used throughout the printables.
