Gingerbread House Decorating Party
ByParty Recap
Kicking off the holiday season we decided to have a kid friendly gingerbread house decorating party. We decorated our gazebo to reflect a gingerbread house. The details in this party were so easy. We used cake circles that we hand painted then wrapped in clear cellophane. We placed them inside and outside of our gingerbread house. We then cut from cardboard a girl and boy gingerbread and placed in on the right side of the house. We purchased a bouncy ball that was also wrapped to reflect a hard candy. We assembled the houses before the girls arrived so they can get right to decorating. The table was simple and organized by using lazy susans and squeeze bottles for the icing. Custom aprons were draped around the table for each girl. The party was a big success. The girls had a blast and their parents were thrilled that they didn't have to do it at home. LOL.
