Party Recap

What better way to shower the bride than an intimate luncheon? The design for this bridal shower was inspired by a new found love for the color sage green.

I received a few requests for sage green inspiration. When I walked into Pier 1 and saw their eucalyptus collection, I knew it was time to make it happen!

I created a balloon garland for the backdrop and main focal point I used two different shades of green (chrome green and pastel matte green) with neutral tones to be sure the greens really popped. The buffet was used as a drink and light appetizer station. A copper and gold ice bucket chilled a bottle of rosé. I added in a sprig of eucalyptus to tie the theme together.

My cheese board included seasonal fruit, cheeses, crackers and chocolate covered raisins (my new obsession, go buy some!!).

A simple naked cake was also displayed with a gold cheers cake topper and eucalyptus.

For the table, I used my favorite macrame table runner (purchased from Target by Opalhouse). I created the floral arrangement using ivory and blush roses and two types of eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s. Each place setting included a white dinner and salad plate, copper flatware and a sage green napkin with a copper napkin ring.

Are you loving copper and sage paired together as much as I am?! #swoon
