Party Recap

Boo! It's Halloween and this party is super sweet and certainly doesn't scare! Bright colors, monstrous sweets and scarily cute treats made certain that everyone had a monstrous of a good time.
I wanted to create a table that was simple and modern and fun for all ages! I actually used a piece of furniture in our house that was the perfect size for a dessert table. This is something fun that anyone can do at home! Scope out your furniture and if you have to move some around, go for it! It's something fun and different and adds a new twist to the boring dining room table! My console had compartments that I utilized by adding cupcakes and monster treat boxes to which gives the whole table some dimension. It's definitely a fun and different look! We added a fabric garland in party colors to give the whole table that extra pop!
Party On! Designs created a set of printed designs that were bright in colors accented with the cutest little monsters in town! By keeping things clean and simple, the colors really made the party pop and were easy to decorate and style the table around. I added a black runner to the table and used basic white dishes. To add color to the dishes and really make your desserts pop, layer the bottoms with colorful candy or use mini treat boxes.
We styled our dessert table with sweet treats that satisfied every little monsters sweet tooth ~ it is Halloween, of course! We had simple vanilla cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies that fit our theme perfectly, cake pops that screamed monster mash and the sweetest desserts of brigaderios and homemade s'mores. What party wouldn't be complete without monster juice!
The kids went home with push up pops filled with chocolate candies and favor boxes we turned into monsters by adding eyes and pipe cleaners for horns. They had a blast in our mock photo booth too where they turned themselves into little monsters!
Happy Halloween!
