Hanging Around

Monkey's 1st Birthday was a theme built around a one year old boy who loves climbing on EVERYTHING. The decorations consist of a standee of the 1 year old boy hanging from vines, along with monkeys and tropical plants. The center of the party focused on a 5ft green tree, which was decorated with photos of each month of the boy's life. The kids table was decorated with custom cups that featued the boy in a monkey constume eating a banana, custom favor boxes with a stuffed animal monkey, monkey necklace, monkey bubbles, monkey banana shaped candy, custom entrance bracelet that read "Thanks for swinging by", a monkey ball paddle and a monkey sticker. The table setting also had monkey plates and custom linen. There was a candy buffet/dessert table that had a custom monkey cake with a large monkey holding the birthday boy, the monkey's tail holding the candle, individual banana flute glasses with mini spoons, custom monkey cookies of the birthday boys face, moneky bread, individual monkey cake for birthday boy, custom center pieces with birthday boy's face on it, banana chips, banana candy. The children enjoyed their own craft station painting clay monkeys, decorating monkey cupcakes, and face painting, playing on 4 jumpers, riding horses and ponies and hitting a custom monkey pinata. The adult tables were decorated with keep sake thank you monkey magnets, custom water bottle lables, and monkey game scratchers. Monkey meals (Monkey shaped chicken patty & Monkey shaped macaroni & cheese served in their own custom keep sake boxes.) To drink was green, orange, and yellow beverages which were the colors of the party. Mother and son had custom outfits made using fabric that was drapped on the tables.
