Party Recap
Harper wanted a pirate party - she loves Jake but I wasn't feeling the traditional black and pink pirate for a girl. We went with Brown and Pink and it was perfect! The first stop for the kids was dress like a matey where they got all their pirate gear. Then they were off to walk the plank this was one of my favorites and most inexpensive things - just a table cloth and some foam shark fins. I also had coloring books, crayons I made that were in the shape of dabloons. The kids loved digging for treasure and the bouncy house. Harper insisted on a castle instead of the pirate ship so we made it work. I also had a station for kids to make pirate handprints on canvas which went over well. My pirate ship was made out of old moving boxes so where the barrels. I had a blast planning it and the kids loved every second. We also did messages in a bottle, Hooks ring toss and a tattoo parlor!
