Party Recap

It was my daughter Mia's 3rd birthday and she wanted to have a tea party, but we thought we add one of her favourite characters to the mix and so we did a Hello Kitty Tea Party. The girls enjoyed getting dressed up and making thier very own tea hats.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

The little girls enjoyed eating a variety of mini sandwiches such as cheese & cinnamon raisan bread, pizza and veggies. Appetizers like spinach & cheese hors o'deuvres and stuffed jalepenos were served to the adults.

  • What People Drank

Guests sipped on "iced" tea and drank strawberry milkshakes from glass bottles.

  • Desserts

There was also an assortment of goodies such as fruit kabobs, pecan tarts, mini blueberry muffins, rice krispy sqaures, rock candy and jello. Instead of cake we served vanilla cupcakes.

  • Party Favors

I choose to use lime green and bright pink gift bags to hold all the fun party favors. Girls got Hello Kitty tattoos, sunglasses, colouring sheets and candy necklaces.

  • Activities / Games

The kids enjoyed breaking the Hello Kitty pinata and played "Guess that Cat" and trivia games about cats. I had a backdrop of Hello Kitty and tea party colouring pages for our photo booth which kids ended up colouring.
