Hayden is absolutely obsessed with anything construction related since his daddy owns a design + build firm, and he watched all the construction going on at our house for several months. It was totally obvious that a construction birthday party was the way to go for his 2nd birthday!

Spinach dip (spackle) with chips (sanding disks) Jello jigglers (cinder blocks), grapes (wrecking balls), wrap sandwiches (insulation blankets), pinwheels (circular saw blades), lil smokies (2x4's)

Party Favors
Wooden tool boxes with each child's name, work aprons from The Home Depot with each child's name, construction cone cups, crayons (made by me), coloring books (made by me), bubbles, pallet coasters to make at home with mom and dad, and a mini construction truck.

Activities / Games
Playing in the sand with construction trucks (a favorite activity with all the kids), and hammering "nails" into "wood".
