This was our 1st Holiday Cookie Exchange. We had such a great time and decided we would do it every year. Hoping for more participants this year.
The best moment was when everyone shared their family traditions. Loved that!
Most Touching Moment
Seeing all of my neighbors and friends having such a great time.
Funnies moment was when my youngest daughter (17) said the reason she made her peanut butter kiss cookies was becuase Dad hated peanut butter and she knew he won't eat them!
Everyone looked nice ...though next year maybe we will do the Crazy Christmas Vest Contest.
What People Ate
We had plenty of good eats at this party including trail mixes, cheese trays, brushetta, keesh, breads and dips...
What People Drank
We had spiked hot cider and hot chocolate and assorted coffees to drink....something good to keep us warm during the big snow of the day.
Fresh strawberries from the strawberry Christmas tree, cupcakes, and lots of wonderful cookies
Activities / Games
We did play a couple games. We first shared the recipe with the group...what made it special and why did we make it. Next I had everyone tell us a family tradition they do with their families. Christmas Scrambler was a great game as well as Christmas Bingo. I made several of the prizes including 6" Trivits, Snowman Poop Cans and Snowman Coasters.
