Party Recap

I had this Ice Princess birthday party theme in my to-do list for a while. I wanted a simple theme that could work for a Winter Onederland party or for a Frozen party, the theme of the moment for girls’ birthday parties.

If I had a dollar for each time I hear my daughters sing ‘Let it go’ I would be a millionaire! There’s no escaping the Frozen fever when you have daughters, am I right?

The birthday banner is always the starting point of my party decorations. I like to hang it off the wall behind the party table and then displaying the food and cake underneath, adjusting its height as needed.

Traditionally you would have a “Happy Birthday” banner but I like to make a simple one with just the name so we can keep it up or use it to decorate the child’s bedroom after the birthday party.

For this cake topper I wanted to keep it simple and versatile. It’s a sweet princess castle and snowflakes that you can use on their own or add your child’s Elsa and Anna figurines if you’re having a Frozen party.

As usual, our party kits include 2″ round cupcake toppers that you can personalize with the child’s name and age. This theme has 3 different designs, with the princess castle, a snowflake and a crown.

For a fun little touch I made these “melted snow” labels for water bottles, but as the file has editable text, you can customize them with the child’s name or type any wording you like.
