Party Recap...

I used to be an Irish dancer when I was a kid (still do it, in fact!), and I really hoped that my daughter would love doing it, too. I knew I'd succeeded when she asked for an Irish dancing theme for her 9th birthday! I threw this together in about two days, and it's not as elaborate as many of my parties, but we had an incredible time--and that's what really counts!

Party Highlights

What People Ate

Pizza from our wood fired oven, lots of cookies and cupcakes!

What People Drank

Punch for the kiddos, beer and wine for the moms and dads.

Activities / Games

A little bit of ceili dancing, but pretty much just general merriment!

Party Favors

Irish dancing "shoe bling"--elastics that slide over hard shoes and are embellished with lots of sparkling rhinestones.
