Isabella's Moana Party
From the moment Isabella saw the movie Moana, she was pleading with us to throw her a Moana themed Birthday party. We gathered most of our inspiration from the movie’s soundtrack; it’s hard not to become inspired to music written by the amazing Lin Manuel Miranda. We listened to the songs over and over again as a source of inspiration. We had already seen the movie 3 times in the theaters and were anxiously awaiting its small screen release. It’s easy for us to get carried away when planning events, since my husband and I are both in the event planning and design industry.

From the moment you walked in you were greeted with a beautiful sign and tiki torches. One of our favorite props was Moana’s boat with a beautiful waterfall backdrop. The kids table inspired by “te fiti” (my personal favorite) was full of color, florals and grass wall that had the words “we know the way”. Our AMAZING florist, really helped bring this vison to life. The cake table was out of this world, grass wall, volcano rocks, paper flowers, desserts and most amazing cake ever!! The photo booth backdrop was inspired by the famous “Maui” tiki backdrop and the words “you’re welcome”. We had an amazing DJ that kept the kids entertained, a special appearance by Moana and an awesome Polynesian show.

We are blessed to have some amazing friends in the industry that collaborated with us on the big day. We tried to keep the party simple and playful, our goal with kid’s parties is to give them a memory that will last a lifetime… We hope you enjoy the pictures of our event
