Party Recap

This party was so much fun and the kids all had a blast. It is always hot in the beginning of August so although the main part of the party was outside we had to have some activities that could be done inside to take a break from the heat. The main event was the Superhero obstacle course. Each obstacle was tailored toward a particular superhero or superhero trait. After each kid completed the obstacle course they received a cookie medal. We also had face painting, a balloon artist, superhero bingo, city skyline photo backdrop and a pinata (using Hulk hands rather than a stick). It was a great day with lots of great food, friends and family.

We made them....well partially. The actual letters are from Hobby Lobby. They are brown and a thick cardboard material. Then you just cut pictures out of comic books and modge podge them onto the letters. The buildings in the back are from Pottery Barn Kids.

I can't tell is this a balloon stuck with glue to a piece of wood? I've seen this before but the styrofoam is too expensive to use and I was thinking balloons but not exactly sure how I was gonna do it
