Jamie's Winter Onederland
ByParty Recap
Our princess' first birthday celebration was decked out in silver pink and baby blue hues. We had a winter onederland party where all guests were dressed in white and were transported to the northpole. To save on cost, we did everything ourselves: invitation (we were inspired by an airline ticket invites in etsy), desserts and candy bar (cakes, sugar cookies, macarons and cuppies. These too were in pastels of pink blue silver white and brown. For the candies and apothecary jars i ordered them online), decorations (mostly were christmas decorations solicited from friends and family), party favors (little stuffed bears) and table centerpieces. I did the lay out and printed everything on my inkjet printer (even the photos and chalkboard poster). I just printed it on a photopaper and pasted it on an illustration board.
We also had an art corner where everyone can make their own christmas tree balls (kids loved these and made a huge mess!). Styro balls, glitters and glue made up the art corner.
Of course, we had a hot choco station with mallows and chocolate sprinkles.
With a magician and a puppeteer, I can proudly say the celebration was a huge success!
