Party Recap

My daughter wanted a Moroccan theme baby shower with lot's of Gold and rich colors. I included several gold accented elephant statues with a mixture of colorful glass vases. To set the tone I layered the dining room table with a beautiful multi colored wall tapestry and a moroccan print table runner for my coffee table. Belly dance hip scarfs were added to the iridescent curtain attached to the wall for a photo backdrop and along the tables as decor. This is my first grandchild and my first time hosting a baby shower. I really tried to get as much color and decor as I could. I kept the sweet table sweet and simple with puffy rain clouds to give it that finishing touch. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and my daughter and her guest were very pleased.

This is was my first time hosting a baby shower. My daughter wanted a Moroccan theme with gold and colorful decorations. It was fun shopping for this event. This is my first grandchild, so, I was super excited when she asked me to host her baby shower. I have a very creative mind so of course I went a little overboard. By the time I was done my entire house was Moroccan. None the less everything turned out beautiful and we had a great time.
