Party Recap
Which side will you choose?
Arriving birthday guests made a choice in picking a light saber for which side they chose. Using a paint canvas drop cloth, I made Jedi robes for the kids. I used an old white sheet for the Princess Leia robes and an old brown curtain for the belts. Princess Leia headbands were made with braided headbands I found on Ebay and adorned with yarn braids glued on the sides.
For activities we had a Darth Vader piñata, coloring posters and watched Star Wars.
For saving money, I bought a store bought cake for $15, just buttercream frosting, no decorations and dressed up the cake myself (The cupcakes were store bought also). Staples does engineered prints (only black and white) for very little cost, which is where I printed most of the posters.
Wookie cookies were star wars graham crackers and I dressed up store bought brownie bites to match the theme.
I designed all my own printables to match. I hope you enjoy the pictures and the tips!
