Joey & Tanner's Fin-Tastic Shark Party

Joey and Tanner like most preschool aged boys, love sharks. And what better place to hold their 3rd birthday party than at the Houston Aquarium, full of fun sea activities and a train ride through a shark exhibit! We kept this party’s design and layout simple due to the tight set-up time frame, but believe we still captured fun elements for these adorable little boys.

Some details to look for include:
-Identical shark birthday cakes for identical twin boys!
-Cupcakes with shark fin toppers sitting atop a sandy beach display
-Custom painted shark table backdrop
-Shark fin table centerpieces

Main Dessert Table
The highlight of this table was most certainly the custom painted wood backdrop, created to coordinate with the invitation and printable designs for the party. 2 identical shark birthday cakes were propped up on stands for each of the boys. Simple cupcakes were topped with personalized shark fin toppers, displayed on a bed of ‘sand’.

Children’s Tables
Ocean water blue colored table cloths were used to create the base for these simple, shark inspired table displays. Palm trees and wooden shark fins acted as the table’s centerpieces. And to add a pop of color, fun blue striped plates were accented with shark cake plates and silly shark glasses.
