Party Recap

This was a Surprise Sweet 16 Slumber party for my very sweet daughter! We only had 3 hours to get EVERYTHING set up from when Josie left to go out with her friend until guests were expected to arrive! I was so nervous whether she would like the color scheme and activities I had planned. I tried to make the party reflect her personality - she loves mason style jars, the chalkboard look and paper lanterns - so I knew those were a must! She loves sky blue and I added the black and white color scheme to make it her first "grown up" party. All of her girlfriends were so sweet and kept the secret. I need to do a shout out to Brooke for helping me deliver invitations and Grace for getting Josie into her dress and out of the house. Josie started to insist to be home at 6:00 because she thought she was babysitting at 6:30. Poor Grace pretended to lose her keys and then drove about 20 miles an hour from her house to ours to make sure they didn't arrive before 6:15! LOL!
