Party Recap

Sweet Julieta’s Hawaiian 2nd birthday party was a huge hit, held the morning of the 4th of July!! We focused on bright colors, traditional Hawaiian fun items, modern elements and a bit of whimsy when creating this party’s overall design.

Some details to look for include:
-Handmade tissue flowers on the table’s backdrop
-Pineapple cake ball pops
-Stunning 2 tier cake with handmade sugar flowers
-Pineapple floral centerpieces
-Pineapple & coconut sippy cups

Main Dessert Table
We wanted this table to be ‘colorful’ and Hawaiian inspired. The backdrop was a simple roll of bamboo fencing standing up behind the banquet table. The table was skirted with a simple grass skirt. Green & white patterned gift wrap served as the runner. The beautiful cookies which were designed in likeness to the printable images were displayed on bamboo placemats. The centerpiece of the table was the brightly colored 2 tier cake decorated with handmade sugar flowers. Flagging either side of the cake were perfect pineapple cake ball pops. And lining the outer edges of the table were fun pineapple sippy cups for the kiddo to grab.

Children’s Tables
We wanted to keep these tables clean and modern. So, we highlighted simple white table cloths with bright green palm ferns, floral arrangements sitting in pineapple bases and alternating pink and green leis hanging from the chair backs.

Party Activities
Guests enjoyed dressing up in Hawaiian attire (i.e. hats, leis, flower hair pins and hula skirts), jumping in the Bounce House, and floating in the pool. To cool off, they headed over to the ice cream bar provided by Pinkberry!
