Party Recap

“I always have so much fun when working with other vendors, so when Bonnie from Bonnie Navarro Photography hired me to design her son’s Birthday Dessert table, I knew it had to be Epic. Her boys all have a fascination for all things Dinosaurs, so of course turning this into a Jurassic Party was a must. Especially with the new Jurassic world movie coming out soon!

Mom told me, there were some design elements that needed to be included with this design. One was the Dino poop cupcakes she made. which had flies and all, I needed to make sure these were displayed the right way. I also had to incorporate a old wood pallet somehow. By bringing in some greenery (ferns) I was able to capture the beauty of the wood pallet and make it seem as if it was found in a Jurassic jungle. I broke up the greenery with a pop of yellow Flowers (mums), and with the Red and Yellow Balloons. & why not have a Dinosaur hold a Balloon, it’s a birthday party!

The Dinosaur footprint on the sugar cookies was an element Mom brought to life, which all the kids loved ( and destroyed). Also a hit, the carnivore sandwich, the kids literally devoured this within minutes. Not to mention the delicious handmade dino shaped tortilla chips. There were so many details that mom did her self for her son’s party. & that is one of my favorite details, when a parent is involved with the overall design. It makes the party that much better.

A great personal touch was the chalk sign with favorite details from all the boys. Mom loved this and framed it as a keepsake for the boys”!

I love the pallet! I am going to do the same theme this May for my son's 5th birthday. Did you use real plants in the pallet display?
