Kaliana's 1st Ladybug Birthday

I started planning this party well in advance and decided that I wanted the pavilion to be completely covered because I had never seen a party at a pavilion that was decorated all out. That's when the decision was made to cover the top and side beams and posts. We did black and red tablecloths on every other picnic table and posts were covered in red and black streamers. Picnic tables each had 2 mini floral arrangements and a picture of the birthday girl. Balloons were tied on with red and black tulle.
Two banners were hung, one the length of the pavilion that said "Happy Birthday Kaliana," while the other said "Kali is one."
The tablescape was the main focal point of the party. It was covered with faux grass and embellished with a floral garland that hung at the edge of the table. The appetizer side was on the left and main courses served on the right. Each item was exclusively picked to match the theme. From flower shaped carrots with cucumber leaves to strawberry roses in mini fenced areas.
For games and entertainment, there was a parachute tarp with balloons for the toddlers and smaller children and a large ladybug bouncy ball and a huge bounce house with a slide that even the adults could enjoy.
The birthday girl had a blast running around, exploring, bouncing and getting dirty! All in all this was my favorite party to plan because it was for my daughter's first birthday! I enlisted many helpful family members to set up and take down, so that helped tremendously!!
