My niece, Kaylee, just turned 8 and she loves her American Girl doll, Ruthie and her dog, Buster. So, we celebrated her big day with a fancy Doll Tea Party right in her own backyard (and Buster's stomping ground). She invited a few of her friends, and their dolls, of course. I designed and illustrated her invitation and an entire Doll Tea Party Collection available in my etsy shop. The girls and their dolls had a delightful day. Buster won't admit it, but I think he had fun too!
All of them!
Vanilla cupcakes with personalized mini-bunting.
Activities / Games
The girls dressed for Tea with scarves, boas, jewelry, sunglasses and dress shoes. They decorated Tea Party hats for themselves and their dolls. Each girl got a chipboard purse that I painted blue or pink and decorated them with flower stickers and rhinestones.
The best moment was capturing the group picture of the girls all dressed up.
What People Ate
Tea sandwiches cut unto flower shapes, Tea cookies, and fruit kabobs
What People Drank
Cherry 7-Up was favored over actual tea.
Most Touching Moment
The love they each had for their precious dolls.
When the girls dressed Buster, the dog up.
