Kenny's 1st Birthday

My son, Kenny, loves trains as did my grandfather who Kenny is named after. Such fun to base my son's first birthday on something he loves so much as well as throwing in some things that reminded me of my grandfather who passed away 6 years ago.

• Desserts

  Chocolate or vanilla cupcakes, buttercream frosting, sugar cookies topped with colored fondant.

• Party Favors

  Burlap bags filled with a red bandana, conductor hat, wooden train whistle, small train car, large plastic coin, and chocolate covered pretzel log.

• Activities / Games

  Train coloring pages and played in a cardboard box train covered with construction paper.

• What People Ate

  wheat thin honey wheat sticks "logs", sliced turkey & ham, cheese sticks, black olives "coal", grapes, orange slices, and Barnum Animal Crackers.

• What People Drank

  Water in covered bottles.
