Party Recap

What's a party girl to do but make sure Greyson graduated in style! I enlisted the help of Paula from Frog Prince Paperie to customize her wonderful printables. She did a great job as always. All of the graduates were given an invitation. I know you hear this from me all the time but it is so important to set the stage for an event with the invitation. I like to frame the invitation for events, as parents really appreciate this photo opportunity. Seriously cheap decoration too!
Frame from the Dollar Store and a little spray paint and you have a winner! I staged the event so that parents could easily take lots of photos in a short period of time.
It made sense to have a seated area for both Kindergarten classes - plus I just adore the dinner party seating for kids. At each place setting, the Graduate received their plate, custom cup, wrapped napkin, straw, Kiss Favor and a personalized place card graduation cap. I really wanted the kids to be involved in the Reception so I enlisted the class to make tassels. They did a fantastic job! When I saw the Graduation Cap Push Pops from Frog Prince Paperie,
I knew these would have to be incorporated into the design. Paula posted the tutorial and I found the most adorable chalkboard buckets to match. I made a few tweaks with the measurements and tassel but they are super easy! This centerpiece turned out to be a great way for the kids to find their seats. Definitely a party favorite! Super easy favor for any party...but I must admit I cheated and glued the stickers on the bottom - so much faster! I should also note that when you work with printables - don't feel limited to what you are purchasing. I was able to make so many wonderful items from the same files. Chocolate Wraps turned into Straw Flags and Napkin Rings. Food Tents turned into Kindergarten Accomplishment Tags for the Tree of Knowledge. Food Tents Turned into Place Cards for the Graduation Caps with a Circle Embellishment
Assorted Papers and 4" Circles turned into Graduation Pinwheels, Push Pop Graduation Hats, Cup Labels, Push Pop Labels, Napkin Tags and Tags for the Kindergarten DVD. Keep your mind open when you are designing parties...step out and create with your own twist.
