Kristini's Cocktail Menu Debut

We have a little bar in our basement, and we've name it Kristini's (Kristina + martini.) We asked our friends to each come up with a drink name and recipe. And, I compiled them into a Menu for our bar. We have some very creative friends, and some of the drink names are pretty funny.

  Tea biscuits with jalapeno jelly, spinach squares, bruschetta, ham and cheese croissants, phyllo shells with chocolate mousse, crab cakes with corn pudding

• What People Drank

  The most popular cocktails of the evening were the house drink the Kristini which is sweet tea vodka and a splash of lemonade - very Southern! The Sweet Baby James was also a hit - a shot of Patron chased with a cinnamon dusted orange. And, another fave was the Emma"lime" - vodka with lemon and lime juice and sugar.

• Funniest Moment

  When one of our guests (who shall remain nameless) recited, in its entirety, the lyrics to The Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" - the long version.
