Party Recap...
He wanted a low key birthday so I decorated our kitchen table to make it festive (and surprise him when he got home from work). I used home-made tissue pompoms and some white lanterns from the Party Store to decorate as well as a printable pennant banner. I got him three bottles of his favorite single malt scotch, a bunch of 'guy' cookbooks (he could choose any meal and I'd cook it for him the follow day) and lots of different truffles! The biggest surprise for him was probably the home-made cake since I generally do not bake. As a special touch, I printed out information about each bottle of scotch regarding aroma, taste, etc.
