Party Recap

Puppy Pawty

I was planning for months the perfect theme for Kyndall's sweet 2nd birthday celebration. I took to Pinterest for inspiration and came across a lot of Puppy Pawtys, and I thought it would be perfect for Kyndall being as though she loooves dogs.

Because Kyndallvwas turning 2 and many of my friends littles are older than Kyndall, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to keep the party small. When it came to choosing a venue, Menchies's Frozen Yogurt was the perfect place to host a kids birthday party, and the colors went perfect with the theme and decor. For entertainment, Menchie's provided color sheets, crayons, music and the Mascot came out to take photos and dance. After the coloring we just let the kids have at it with free play. Kyndall was so excited, she couldn't stop her screams of excitement.

For the decor, I created all the printables and was able to get them printed at my local Staples, this was a very cost effective option for me. For the guest table I kept it very simple and clean with a pink runner I got on sale from Ross, black and white plates and wooden utensils from Shop Sweet Lulu (one of my favs), and glass milk bottles from Oriental Trading.

For the Dessert Table, I kept the decor clean and simple here as well. The pink sequin runner made the table pop. I did for the first time a balloon garland over the dessert table that actually came out nice. Instead of cake, I decided to go with simple cupcakes with custom toppers to go with the theme. I loved how the ceramic Boston Terrier went perfect on table. Another delicious sweet on the table were the custom dog bone cookies from Sugar Studio, not only were they adorable but they were delicious as well. Oh and I can't forget the adorable Pup Pops from Oriental Trading, the kids end up taking home as favors.

Now for the Puppy Adoption station. The highlight of the kiddies afternoon, they were able to pick out their very own puppy to take home. I designed some Certificate of Adoptions for them (with Mom) to fill out where they name their puppy and promise to love and care for them. For the first time tried calligraphy with treat boxes where I customized with each child's name to put their puppy in. The design for the table was simple but so cute. I went to Joann's where I found the cutest puppy print fabric and used that as a runner on the table. To hold the puppies, I actually reused a drink cooler and added filler. Another cute detail was the WOOF letter balloons I got from my new favorite Etsy shop PinkPoppyPartyShoppe. The table came out great!

My sweet little Kyndall had a blast surrounded with her loved ones, she got a new puppy, a bunch of sweets what more can a 2 year old ask for?!
