Hi Jillian, I love the mickey mouse birthday sign over the fireplace, could you let me know you made it. I would to love to make one just to hang it up in my mouse, I would leave it up all year long. thanks, CC
Jillian... thank you. I just now am seeing this so many months later, not sure how I missed that. Thank you so much! How awesome!
CC H - my blog is http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2010/01/mickey-party-planning-take-1.html if you start at that post and work your way forward it goes through all of the questions you had about the decorations. Also, if you want to e-mail me at itssewstinkincute@hotmail.com I can answer any and all of your extra questions that my blog might not answer. But if you check my blog posts out I am sure they will cover almost all your questions. Thanks and glad you like everything! Julie
wow LOVE your party!! We are having my niece's 2nd birthday party this summer and since she loves Minnie we are doing a Minnie theme, black, pink and purple.. Def getting ideas from here. So unique, can't wait to check out your blog :)
I love how you decorated the garage doors. Can you please share how you did those? I'm not very artistic, but I'd love to do something similar for my son's Mickey Mouse birthday in April. Were those decorations magnetic or how do you affix them to the doors? Thanks!!!
Adrienne- If you go to my blog http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2010/04/lacis-3rd-birthday-party-full-recap.html you can find links to how we did the large decorations. They are done with a projector (either opaque or overhead) They really are a hit. Also, to put them up we used tape... nothing special. Thanks for the sweet comments! Julie
Hi! I was wondering where you found the cards for the food. Or if you made them, where did you find the characters? Love your party!! Thanks
Hi Julie! Wow, this has got to be THE BEST party I have ever seen! I can onky imagine what a wonderful time your little girl had. I would dlike to do something similar for my son's 1st birthday, thanks for the ideas! Well done on an awesome party Julie!
Claudine, I can't tell you what a wonderful feeling it is to wake up and see your awesome comment. Hopefully you had the chance to check out my blog and see how to do some of the things. All the kids talk about Laci's parties, and I love being able to make it so that all the kids have an awesome time! Tera - Not sure if I ever e-maied you, but we did make the cards for the food, it wasn't hard... you can find the little cardboard characters used on the food in the Craft Scrapbook section of Michaels. good luck!
We'd love you to leave a comment, but you need to be logged in.
