Party Recap

I was able to throw a baby shower for my dear friend who was expecting not one- but two babies! Her nursery was going to be Map themed so I had to incorporate maps into the shower.

For the mantel I borrowed a friends beautiful map sign. I made letters that were covered in maps of the babies initials and made a “twice blessed” bunting with Map hearts (each heart was from a map of a place of significance for the mom-to-be).

I found a chalkboard globe that we used as a guest book for guests to write a message to the babies.

I also made the cupcake picks with maps and a heart punch. The door wreath was also made from old maps and map scrapbook paper.

I also used some suitcases and globes to add a little more travel flare to the party. I found these adorable chocolate globes to use as centerpieces and an old atlas. I also made pinwheels incorporating the colors from the shower as well as map scrapbook paper.
