Party Recap...

I like to plan a really special party for my kids when they turn three. My first son had a carnival party but this son's birthday is in March and we couldn't host it at our home with the amount of people invited. So we rented a historic home in a nearby town and got started planning. Since my little guy is such a sweet tooth I thought the Candy Land theme would be perfect! All of the immediate family members plus Grandma and Grandpa dressed up as characters for the party. The idea was to create a life sized Candy Land board so the party involved playing the game as well as other games/activities: peppermint stick drop, gingerbread house making, face painting by Grandma Nutt, lollipop tree, candy necklaces with Fruit Loops, and candy crowns. We had lots of fun planning and celebrating!
