Party Recap
Our daughter Lauren is overjoyed when riding carousels, so we decided to have a carousel themed birthday party. After months of searching for a small electric carousel to rent, we had to admit there were none available or any willing to travel to Vermont for a reasonable price. On almost a dare, I asked my father to construct Lauren a carousel base that we could assemble in pieces. This was no easy task! He accepted the challenge and built a fully functional carousel with $500 in materials: wood, wheels, pipes, paint. Friends gave me their unwanted hobby horses. I detached them from frames and painted them pink. We now had a carousel and were ready for a wonderful party! This party is 100% hand made. The carousel, cake and dress were all made at home by our family members! There were no designers or party planners and we are really proud of how we pulled off this theme!

Hi there, I’m interested in the carousel. Is this moving carousel? Are you selling this? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

The carousel is on wheel casters and can be pushed manually but is not motorized. It is handmade from solid wood and very heavy, so it would have to be delivered in person vs shipped from VT. Please contact me at [email protected] (personal email) if you have any other questions.
