Lawson's 1st Birthday

I had so much fun styling this party for my little guy! I chose the Mustache Bash/Little Man theme because I wanted it to be fun for the kids as well as the adults. As far as details, where do I begin?? I wanted there to be lots of mustaches and I love the turquoise, black and grey color scheme so I started there. Guests were greeted with mustaches that I mounted on popsicle sticks so nobody was caught with a naked upper lip:) Some of my favorite details were the mustache balloons, trays & napkins, the “Milk & Cookies” table and the peanut butter and jelly “Manwiches” (which were individually wrapped sandwiches cut into mustaches!). I had custom props made for the photo booth, which was a huge hit with adults and kids. Everyone had a great time and all kids were worn out so I’d say it was a success:)

I think the little details make a party so my tip is to choose a theme and or color scheme and start planning early so you can be on the lookout for fun things to make your party unique and special. I surprised myself at where I found treasures!
