Party Recap

For his 8th birthday Walker decided to celebrate with a Lego themed party. My little mister loves to helped me plan and decorate, so we immediately started brainstorming. He drew pictures and help me look through Pinterest for ideas. We had a blast planning together, and he was one happy little guy when party day rolled around.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

We served the children Walker's favorite lunch of hot dogs, chips, and juice.

  • What People Drank

Each child had their own milk bottle decorated with an adorable Lego head (Stampin Fanatic) to accompany their dessert.

  • Desserts

We served a variety of the birthday boy's favorite sweet treats. A modern inspired 2 tiered petal cake (My Sweet Things) was the focal point of the dessert table topped with a personalized fondant cake topper (Roni's Sugar Creations.) The kids went crazy for the cake pops (Painted & Sprinkled), and the Moms gravitated towards the fondant topped cupcakes (Pattycakes.) White chocolate dipped rice krispy treats (Sweet U Off Your Feet) were also served, and Walker's personal favorite were the Lego men cookies (Crumbles by Nicole.)

  • Party Favors

As party favors we gave the guests candy wands from Hand Crafted Parties.

  • Activities / Games

We kept the activities very simple. Since this was a Lego party, we let the children gather in teams with their parents and build a masterpiece. They had a blast working together and seeing whose building was the greatest.
