Party Recap

For her 12th birthday our daughter wanted a 1950’s diner birthday! I sent out digital invites and left it optional for guests to dress up in 1950’s attire. Loved that most of her friends did dress up. I used an old red skirt I had from a prior costume and added the poodle for her skirt and bought the accessories on Amazon. I made my husband, son and the boy cousins T-Bird shirts, and bought cat eye glasses, neck scarves for the girls to accessorize. I also picked up some regular sunglasses for the boys at the Dollar Tree. We served burger baskets, milkshakes, cookie cake, cupcakes and of course Old school soda pop (found them at our local Walmart). Kids had fun playing Bingo, limbo and a hula hoop contest! I made all the decorations- I found the printables on Etsy and I used my Cricut to make the Coca-Cola decorations- I found red plastic cups at Walmart (4 for .98 cents!) and found the red plastic drink tub also at Walmart and added the Coca Cola label to it. I found the photo backdrop on Amazon and my sister in law and I made the balloon arch.
