Party Recap...
My daughter and I love the Hunger Games movie. We decided to make this the theme for her 13th Birthday party. ALL of her girlfriends were totally into it as well..it was a HUGE success!
Party Highlights
Best Moment
The smiles on all the girls faces at the Reaping when Effie/I called their name and put their district badges on them.
Most Touching Moment
The next day after all the guests had left and my daughter came up to me and gave me a bear hug with a HUGE smile and a sincere thank you!
Funniest Moment
Waking up the next morning and seeing the forest decorated with underwear and bras from the girls that were crazy enough to fall asleep while the birthday girl and 2 accomplices raided their bags!
Best Dressed
The birthday girl of course in her gorgeous Turquoise blue dress!
What People Ate
We catered Panda Express: Chinese food: Orange Chicken, steamed rice (as noted in the book)
What People Drank
Sparkling pink lemonade out of wine glasses for a fancy touch.
Dessert
A delicious assortment of pastries as my daughter does not like cake and also because they had a lot of yummy pastries in the movie.
Activities / Games
Training before Tournament at our home: Archery, Nerf guns shooting at targets, Spear throwing

It was her 13th birthday so I spared no expense but it cost about $350.00
