Party Recap
We hosted our son's 1st birthday with a safari theme in mind as we are a family that travels often to Africa. It was therefore fitting to celebrate his birthday in Canada with friends and family safari style! We had ponies, monkeys, koalas, a jumpey castle, and a great turn out with some fabulous DIY decor!

Party Helpers
-
The Hartman Gallery
Venue
The members of the Hartman team also helped me put my vision to life, not only is their venue already gorgeous, but they helped me with the tree stumps for the kid's seating and with decor for the kids table. The backdrop of the venue added depth and an antique flare which gave the safari party a wonderful touch!

Eloisa Plus Rey Photography.
Photographer
We worked together almost 6 months prior to the date, where I updated our photographer on the exact "style" and what I wanted captured, as I knew there was detail going into this party that couldn't be missed! Rey from the studio was fantastic to work with and captured every detail perfectly!

Vanity Cakes
Baker
Beatrice from Vanity cakes worked with me months in advance to design a custom safari themed cake that somehow incorporated my son's actual face on the cake! We went through different designs, inspirations, and tried to come up with a one of a kind safari cake, Pinterest ready!

Hi Greta the sign is from a party site called shindigz.com under their safari party section. You can customize it as well :)
