Selected as Party of the Day on August 14th!
Lilly Pulitzer-Inspired Bridal Luncheon
ByParty Recap
Wedding season is in full swing and the act of hosting a bridesmaid luncheon is a long-standing tradition we love at A Lively Affair. A special time to honor the bride and her maids is an excellent opportunity to all the ladies to get to know one another (if they don’t already) and the bride and her mother to thank the bridesmaids.
Desserts stations are one of our favorite things to create for our clients and this one is bursting with the sweetest treat from some of the best in the business. Can I just point out, just incase you missed it, that ah-mazing flamingo cake! Yes, that is a REAL cake!! Elite Custom Cakes (for you locals) is getting ready to open up a location on Colley Avenue in Norfolk and I for one and excited. Be sure to tell Jose and Lisa I sent you. Did you happen to notice the hand-painted macarons? Yep, Hummingbird Macarons & Desserts is terrific and you should let Kisha make some for your next event, too.
While flamingo’s are so “on trend” this summer (were they ever not?), we styled this shoot with a twist on an iconic Lilly Pulitzer flamingo pattern, Pink Colony. Bold, bright and beautiful…these bridesmaids really know how to party!
