Simple party snacks for the children - butterfly sandwiches, raisins, crisps and sausages, followed by ice cream cones with fruit and ice cream in. Adults had chilli and lasagne as well as cakes to nibble one

Activities / Games

Pass the parcel and a caterpillar hunt, then one activity for each of the fruits the caterpillar ate - Apple bobbing, a pear shaped pinata, plum shaped beanbag target game, strawberry bumps (musical bumps) and orange pop (each child got a balloon, each balloon had part of a big caterpillar picture for the children to piece together!)

Party Favors

A spotty bag that I sewed together, with hungry caterpillar bubbles and balloons, We made a butterfly for the lollipops to go in and a special "Make your own caterpillar Kit" from red and green pom poms, raisins and butterfly stickers
