Party Recap

I had a blast planning this "Little Mister" themed party for my son Dean's first birthday! Afterall, he is our "little man." The fun started with the invitations that I designed and from there, the details started to fall in place one by one.

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

The birthday boy, of course! He looked adorable in his mustache tee by Finley & Oliver. I had the back monogrammed to say "Mister Dean."

  • Desserts

The dessert buffet included Birthday Boy Cake, Lil' Man Milkshakes, Who's the Man Cookies, Stache Bash Pops, and Maneater Sweets!

  • Activities / Games

I set up a photobooth area complete with "Little Mister" props, including staches/lips on a stick, ties, open frames, newspapers, a fedora hat, etc.

  • Best Moment

The best moment of the night for me was watching my baby boy enjoy his very own birthday cupcake for the first time -- he loved it!

  • What People Ate

Our guests filled up on yummy appetizers first and then moved on to dinner, which was crockpot cheesesteaks, homemade potato wedge fries, a strawberry/blueberry salad with poppy seed dressing and a pickle bar.

  • What People Drank

Everyone "Wet Their Whiskers" with all kinds of beverages, including "Manly Growlers" and gourmet soda with custom straws.
