Little Slugger Baby Shower
ByParty Recap
I was overjoyed to plan a baby shower for my friend Mandy. She was finally having a baby boy. When I asked her what theme she was doing in the nursery, she said sports, and since her husband loves baseball, we went with that. I wanted her to be able to use the left over props for her nursery so I had fun thinking of things she could use. The sign in was a unfinished wooden bat that I purchased, guests were very creative autographing it. As an activity, the guests designed their own onesies with fabric markers...it adds a nice personal touch. I served blue punch and sweet tea with garnishes to match. For food, it was ballpark franks, popcorn, corn chips, guacamole, and some other snacking food. I used a candy cart that my husband and I built for the "Ballpark Snack Stand" that served as our candy buffet for guests. It made for a sweet ending to a great shower!
