Party Recap

{inspiration party} The Love Rocks Collection was inspired by a collaboration with Natalie of Southern Belle's Charm, a concept drawing by Paula of Frog Prince Paperie and the lack of age appropriate partyware available for the Tween scene. We decided to venture into new design territory and live on the edge! We were inspired by tattoo artists and clothing designer Ed Hardy to create a collection that lives on the edge and really ROCKS!

Are you ready to party? First, send a Rockin' invitation. When party day arrives, greet your guests at the "Backstage Entrance" with a "By Invitation Only" Welcome Sign.

Time to decorate an edgy sweets table...to create a stunning backdrop, attach a piece of sparkly black paper along with two shades of ribbon to a piece of black foam core. Attach the giant heart from our Scrapbook Paper and the "Love Rocks" Banner with pop-up adhesive dots.

To display the food, attach Scrapbook Paper to your servingware or to a box top to display unique treats. Add sweet treats to your servingware, adorn with Tini Banners or Cake Stakes.

Do you love creating fun food labels? Add your own text to our Party Cards and fill the Favor Bags with fun themed candies. Don't forget the drink station...'cuz Rockstars LOVE milk!

Feeling like a Rockstar yet? Be adventurous and add some lighting. How'd we do that? We used battery operated lights from our local party store and put them under translucent colored bowls.

After the party, don't forget to send out Valentines...be a Rockstar and include a little "Thank U!"

Now that the parties over, let's tally up the receipts and see if we met our budget...

Party Budget for 6 guests :: $50.00

Love Rocks Collection :: $15.00
Treats :: $17.13
Milk :: $1.12
Favors :: $10.55
Napkins :: $3.61
Food Décor :: $2.40
Party Grand Total :: $49.98

Everything else we used were leftovers from previous parties or treasures we found around the house!

I love to bake treats for the parties we host but my recent schedule hasn't allowed me to do so. My lack of free time challenged me to come up with Rockin' treats for this party inspiration. I headed to the grocery section at my local Target and found all of the sweet treats you see.

I hope you're inspired to make Valentine's Day a special "treat" for your loved ones!
