Party Recap...
I wanted to have a party that would allow Luke to have fun and occupy his attention as well as older kids.
Party Highlights
What People Ate
We had pizza and nuggets, a kid staple. We also had Monkey Mix (papaya, coconut and banana chips), banana pudding from Bakerella's recipe and banana splits. We had chocolate chip cookies (Luke's favorite), popcorn and a candy bar.
Luke's 2nd Birthday
Curious George
Dessert
I made cupcakes and frosted them with a yellow Elite frosting for a light touch. The topper and 1/4 sheet cake were from Cupcake Couture.
Activities / Games
The petting zoo was our biggest hit! Especially when the sheep escaped and the kids got to chase him around the yard. We also had tents for them to crawl through, a bubble machine, music and a painting station (very Curious Georgie). They would have each received a smock, but it was too cold outside to paint.
Party Favors
Each child received their very own curious bucket customized with their name on it. I printed their name (in curious george font) on photo sticker paper and stuck in onto their buckets
