Luke chose the Where the Wild Things Are theme for his 5th birthday because it is one of his favorite books. We invited many "wild things" from his preschool and had a rowdy rupus!

  • Best Moment

    Having a child thank Luke for his copy of Where the Wild Things Are book and telling him he had never been to a party where the book was read or the decorations were "real!"

  • Funniest Moment

    Luke opening gifts. Many sweet comments were made by Luke and his friends.

  • Most Touching Moment

    Luke's best friend from preschool arriving. It was the best gift Luke could receive.

  • What People Ate

    Shrimp, fruit, pasta with homemade sauce and mini meatballs, artisan breads, Caesar salad, and green chocolate pudding.

  • What People Drank

    Iced tea, lemonade, apple juice, and soda

  • Desserts

    Lemon cake with blueberry filling with buttercream and fondant icing and ice cream. Chocolate Wild Things cupcakes with fudge frosting.

  • Party Favors

    A copy of Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, a 2 Bubbies Cookie shaped like a Wild Thing, and a bag of Where the Wild Things Are coloring favors.

  • Activities / Games

    Create your own Wild Things Pet craft, read Where the Wild Things Are to our guests, and played Toss the pearl into the oyster's mouth.
