Party Recap

This is Maddie's golden birthday, she was 3 on the 3rd of April, and I wanted to make it extra special. We had just come back from Disney World so I decided to go with the Minnie Mouse theme. This party took weeks of planning and help from my good friend Kelley (who is as crazy as I am about party planning :) I could not have done this without her help! We also celebrated Maddie's cousin Rachel's 1st birthday. There was over 60 people on the guest list. My husband has a huge family so most gatherings are at least 35 just with his family alone.
No detail was left unturned. Every decoration was made by myself or Kelley. The Minnie Mouse cookies and cakes were made by 2 of my talented co-workers. Everyone loved Minnie's Sweet Shoppe, Minnie's Bow-tique which had Minnie and Mickey pictures to color, and Minnie Mouse heads to decorate with glitter pens. We had Minnie ears for all the girls to wear, and Mickey ears for all the boys to wear. I also had 25 little Minnie's hidden throughout the house for the kids to find. Everyone had a great time and they all want to know how I am going to top this party with the next... hmm...I'll have to start planning now. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as I had oh so much fun planning and setting up the party!

Yes my friend made them. She purchased the head bands from Amazon, then used craft foam and cut out the ears.

Hi Kelly. This is a great idea for a party craft. What glue works best to hold the ears together and on the headband. Do you remember the amazon name or item number for the headbands? Thank you.

I believe the craft foam has a self adhesive. I cannot recall the exact name for the head bands but they are the 1/4 inch black headbands.

I googled Disney font and found a free download. I cannot remember exactly which site. It was pretty easy to do.
