Madison and Maverick's Wedding

In a setting as beautiful as Lake Keowee, with the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Maddie and Maverick’s whole day was an unforgettable dream! The couple incorporated so many unique details that truly represented who they were. One of our favorites was the ceremony unity. Since Clemson football brought the couple together, they decided in place of the traditional ceremony unity, they wanted to incorporate the Clemson football tradition of “The All In Poker Chips”. This is a tradition that Coach Dabo Swinney started and was the Groom's favorite memory while playing football at Clemson. The All In Chip is a metaphor for every player giving 110% and an “All In” effort during the game. Prior to exiting the locker room before kickoff, each player places his chips in the “All In” Bucket. To bring this vision to life for our couple we had custom poker chips created with their wedding crest. Each guest signed the chips as they entered and when they exited, they dropped their chip into the buckets to represent their “All In” support of the marriage of Maverick and Maddie. Everywhere you looked throughout the day there were personal touches that made the couple’s personality shine through- from personalized cocktails, monogrammed napkins and pillows, to drink stirrers with their dog “Honey” printed on the pad. In the reception tent was a cookie table full enough to make your mouth water (a Pittsburgh family tradition). While guests were served dinner, the couple took the time to enjoy an intimate private meal together. Then they were able to return into the reception tent and personally table greet all their guests. As the night carried on, there was a smile on everyone’s face and joy in everyone’s heart, especially as they packed the dance floor. When the night came to an end the couple ran through sparkler fountains. They were then met, and loaded, into a vintage car by the Clemson Tiger. Just another detail that truly made this wedding so special.
