Party Recap

We threw a Muppets Party for Maisy's 6th Birthday - she had a blast!

I tried to create a relaxed, fun party that was about the kids and what they like to do rather than focussing on decorations and a fancy dessert table.
Maisy isn't a fan of party games so we didn't play any and I'm not a fan of kids running round high on sugar so we gave them a meal towards the end of the party and just gave them a few sweets to take home ;)

We almost always use the local church hall for our parties and this was the first time I was quite happy with the purple walls as for once they fit my colour theme of 'anything goes'

Of course I had a mad stress before the party -especially as pretty much everything was DIY, the only thing I bought in was the 2 amazing banners that my friend Ken did in exchange for his Son's birthday cake (don't you just love trade-offs?) and the decorations were ready made.
Overall though it was pretty chilled out and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Thanks for looking :)
