Makayla's 1st Butterfly-day!

- We enjoyed designing with our favourite theme colours - light pink and light purple! You just can't go wrong with these sweet colours! We made sure every single item was designed in these colours to make the overall decor look soft, sweet and pretty. We are so proud of the gorgeous backdrop that was created with soft, flowing cloth, lots of butterfly cutouts and of course, a gorgeous picture of Makayla.

- The photo booth was designed to compliment the backdrop and we designed it to look like a butterfly garden with heaps of butterfly cutouts, "grass" and flower plants that were made from balloon sculptures. The photo booth also doubled as a photo display backdrop that featured photos of Makayla and her mummy and daddy. Photos that were taken at the photo booth turned out absolutely gorgeous!

- We surprised ourselves with how stunning the candy buffet turned out to be! Our carefully selected variety of candies and desserts complimented the theme perfectly! There were customised lollies in pink with sugar flowers, marshmallow pops in flower and butterfly shapes, butterfly shaped cookies with pink icing, strawberry flavoured cookie sticks, as well as customised chocolate bars, customied mineral water bottles and lots more.

- We love the beautiful partee packs that had cutouts of butterfly wings and pink ribbons. So girly and pretty!

- For the entrance decor, we placed a chalkboard print with all the fascinating details of baby Makayla on an easel and decorated it with butterfly cutouts and helium balloons. The chalkboard print also doubled as a welcome sign. The rest of the venue was decorated with helium balloons that had cutouts of butterflies clipped to the balloon ribbon. It made the venue look like there were butterflies fluttering everywhere!

- Last but not least, we are crazy in love with the beautiful birthday cake! It was an amazing fondant cake shaped like a pillow with a cute little girl on top. Credit goes to Makayla's mummy who purchased this cake.
