Party Recap

We had a Panda themed party which was so much fun to plan. But I love planning parties. I used to have a children’s party planning business and I loved it. This was my opportunity to do a party for my first child and have months in advance to plan and find everything that I needed. Since Marley was a baby he has had a few Panda toys and took a liking to them. I really wanted to do a black and white party at some stage so the theme fitted really well. I started buying black and white party items months before his birthday before I had even decided on the theme but I knew it would be better to spend the money just a little bit at at time.

Black and White Honeycomb Balls were from a range of shops over a space of a few months, Kmart, Ikea, $2 shops, and party shops.

I made the Panda Pinata. It took a while but I have step by step instructions on my blog.

The day went really smoothly and people started arriving after Marley woke up from his nap. The snack food was all out on the table ready for people to help themselves. All the children and adults seemed to have a really good time. And so did Marley and us! Can't wait to plan the next party!
