Party Recap
From the day my little girl was born, my mother would sing "Marra Had a Little Lamb" to her every time she was with her. It seemed only fitting that her 1st Birthday celebration be themed as such. The colors I chose were light gray and pale yellow, with splashes of baby pink throughout. Lots of stripes and polka dots helped keep things sweet, perfect for a little girl's First. I incorporated soft textures within the decor and chose pieces that would add to that "old fashioned" farm feel simplicity. The cupcake display was one of my favorite details. They were assembled in front of a white picket fence, complete with "grazing sheep". In addition, the birthday banner was exactly how I had imagined it, thanks to Erin DuPont at Rose Door Design, who created each and every party printable as well as the adorable invitations that I absolutely died for!

Haley King
Cake designer
Haley, from Haleycakes, made the most adorable cupcakes for Marra's party. I used pretty little daisies as centerpieces at the party, so we carried that into the cupcake design. They tasted even better than they looked, which says a LOT!!! She also made a smash cake for Marra. Haley is a pleasure to work with and so very talented!http://www.facebook.com/haleycakes1/info
