Party Recap

My Son loves anything with an engine and he especially loves the movie "Cars." However, I didn't want to do a cartoonish party for him. I decided to spin off the movie and just focus on the vintage cars of the glory days of the "Mother Road," Route 66. It turned out so adorable! With donuts as spare tires, pin-WHEEL sandwiches and pretzel sticks as "dip sticks," how could we go wrong? I set old 45 records on traffic cones for easy, fun cupcake stands. Chips were served from a oil pan and water bottles were contained in a tool box. The utensil holders were tin cans wrapped to look like vintage oil cans. For favors, we provided pull back cars from "Mav's Car Lot." They were a hit! For activities, kids decorated their own license plates and sifted through "ball bearings" (bird seed) to find car parts. We drew a road with chalk on our patio so the whole gang could race their tricycles. In all, my son never stopped smiling and every guest was dancing to the sock hop era music. It was a wonderful celebration!

Hi! I am sorry I didn't see this sooner. If it's not too late, I would say, yes, probably a 3t. My son wore the 18-24 month size at about 25lbs.
